Hollywood Trialblazer: The Debra Hill Story
This project began at the tender age of six when Jim watched his favourite film HALLOWEEN (1978) for the first time. DO NOT TELL THE BBFC!
The film’s producer, Debra Hill became one of Jim’s filmic idols and mentors. Cut to 30 years later, and now Jim is telling the story of her amazing career in his upcoming feature documentary HOLLYWOOD TRAILBLAZER: THE DEBRA HILL STORY, exec produced by Jamie Lee Curtis.

Upside (2020)
Inspired by a true story.
On his 18th birthday, a young man with Down’s Syndrome seeks to break away from his over protective mother and attend a rock concert.
This film was made for, and inspired by, Jim’s nephew Stephen. A showcase of the bond that the two share. The film played in many international film festivals and won numerous best film awards. Grab the popcorn, and maybe a tissue.
The Magic Spade (2023)
”Not everyone is a fan of the written word. But a good yarn? That’s a different story.”
Danny, a man with a gift for the gab is literally digging his own grave. To bide some time, he begins to tell his captors the tale of ‘THE MAGIC SPADE.’ The question is, can he use this story be able to change the ending of his own?
This is Jim’s most ambitious film to date. Written by Darren Gibson, Jim brought his energetic editing and directorial style to this piece to create a non-stop thrilling piece with an ending that you may not expect. “THE MAGIC SPADE” has played at several international film festivals and won the DIRECTOR’S CHOICE award at the Film Devour Film Festival.
